Whether it’s playing on one of the sandy beaches or traveling to the local snow cone stand, there are limitless possibilities for kids to have fun in the sun.

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Camp Resort Park

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Camp Resort Park is a hit with kids and families! Here visitors will find a water park complete with two new pools, 200 feet waterslides, and a Wibit, a floating inflatable water park on the lake. At Jellystone, Resort guests are able to rent stand-up paddle boards and kayaks and sandy beaches are available for swimming. The activities are endless! Spend your time at one of three fishing piers, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, or two of the playgrounds on the campground. Stay overnight at one of their campgrounds or purchase a day pass to enjoy all the fun there is to be had at Jellystone! Sweet Treats

Barnyard Blizzard Shaved Ice is a traveling snow cone, popsicle, and ice cream bus around the Keystone Lake area. Check their Facebook at Barnyard Blizzard Shaved Ice to find out where they are setting up shop next! Just a short drive into Sand Springs is Sandlot Sno-Balls with a menu of shaved ice flavors geared toward children. Sandlot Sno-Balls is open Monday through Thursday from 4 to 8:30 p.m., Friday from 4 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 12 to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 12 to 8:30 p.m. Their address is 250 S Highway 97 Sand Springs, OK 74063. A newer shop in Sand Springs, Big Dipper Creamery, has amazing ice cream flavors for kids and adults both. With many different flavors from vegan to gluten-free, they have something for everyone! Big Dipper Creamery is open every day from 12 to 8 p.m. and they are located at 120 N Main Street Sand Springs, OK 74063.

Keystone State Park

Keystone State Park offers playgrounds in each section of their park open to the public along with family-friendly trails for kids and parents to enjoy. Check out all the trails they have to offer in our trails section. The kid’s fishing pond on site is available for kids 12 years and younger. For kids to fish in the pond, parents or guardians must have a valid fishing license. The beach at Keystone State Park has designated swimming open to the public. The park is located at 1926 OK-151 Sand Springs, OK 74063.
