RIDE THE BEST TRAILS

Venture off the main path to see the scenery from a different ride. Keystone Lake has different trails available for those who are looking for an adventure! Off-roading can be fun for those of all ages, dipping into the scenery that surrounds Keystone Lake. Put your skills to the test by riding ATVs, dirt bikes, and motorized vehicles.

Appalachia Bay

Appalachia Bay, also known as Motorcycle Island by those who frequent the island, is a great place for off-road vehicles to travel. Just 15 minutes from downtown Tulsa, the entrance to the park leads to a wondrous ride near Keystone Lake. With the sandy terrain close to the water, riders are sure to never run out of fun. Appalachia Bay, or Motorcycle Island, is located at 800 E Appalachia Bay Road Cleveland, OK 74020. There is a $ 5-day fee per trailer for the riding area. The park requires that ATVs be legally registered to ride into the park to use the roads and off-road trails. ATVs that are not legally tagged must be trailered into the park and unloaded in the parking lots. These ATVs must stay on the trails provided for them and off all regular roadways. While in the park, riders are expected to adhere to the posted speed restrictions, but once they reach the island, ATVs are allowed to go past the ideal speed. Leaving trash around the trails is prohibited. An outdoor shower is available near the ATV area. Annual passes to the area are available for $30. A campsite is available at Appalachia Bay for those staying overnight. For more information on the Appalachia Bay campground, visit our camping section on the website.

WHITE WATER OFF ROAD VEHICLES PARK

White Water Off-Road Vehicles Park has 10 miles of trails through beautiful wooded areas and mud holes galore covering 80 acres. There are winding trails for dirt bikes and most of them are wide enough for ATVs. White Water Off-Road Vehicle Park is located on the south side of the lake below the Keystone Dam off of Old State Highway 51 Sand Springs, OK 74063. The park allows for free entrance for an all-day adventure and is open during the months of March through December. Overnight guests are not permitted. Both Appalachia Bay and White Water Off-Road Vehicles Park are owned and operated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. For more information, call 918-865-2621.
