They have six trails accessible to visitors for a chance to see the landscape surrounding the Keystone Lake area. Trails at the forest are the Childers Trail, Frank Trail, Wilson Trail Loop, Fire Road Trail, Less Traveled Trail, and Falls Trail. KEYSTONE TRAILS

Keystone Trails have four trails located at the southeastern end of the lake, across the street from Keystone State Park Office for both hikers and mountain bikers. It is a loop system for travelers to go as far or as short as they like and each trail is marked with the corresponding color of the name of the trail. The trails are approximately 8 miles total, with the longest uninterrupted loop about 5 miles. The trailhead for the Keystone Trails is located on Old SH-151, just southeast of SH-151.

The Green Loop is the beginner-level part of the trail. In a clockwise direction, hikers will find a few twists and turns but for the most part, this trail is low impact.

The Blue Loop is great for those wanting a little more difficult trail, but still doable for any level of hiker. The Blue Loop trail is connected to the Green Loop and breaks off for a longer expedition.

The Red Loop trail is advanced and meant for those hikers and mountain bikers that are looking for a more challenging trail. The longest of the trails, the Red Loop trail connects to each of the other trails.

The Black Loop trail is the most intense of the four loops and is labeled as expert level. This trail breaks off the Red Loop trail for a more treacherous hike. About 1.5 into the Red Loop trail is where this one begins and hikers will encounter switchbacks and more hazardous hills until looping back around to the Red trail to finish out the hike on the advanced trail.
